Service life and aging effects TIM
An important property for thermal interface materials is their resistance to Aging effects. For this purpose, the ZFW offers a large number of examination options with which service life tests can be carried out. This also includes self-developed methods.
ZFW Multiparameter Teststand (MPT)
A further development of our TIM tester enables measurements of the thermal resistance under cyclical long-term temperature loads (power cycling).
Vibration Tester (VT)
- Investigation of the mechanical stress caused by high-frequency vibrations and the resulting change in thermal resistance
- Tensile and compressive loads in the sub-micrometer range
Climate room
Preconditioning and storage of a sample from -40 to 180 ° C with a defined relative humidity of up to 99%.
- Temporal and cyclical aging tests (thermal resistance) as a result of temperature and ambient humidity
Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)
Measurement of the change in mass as a function of temperature and time.
